HAZE magazine is a travel magazine dedicated to examining and celebrating lesser-known travel destinations. The brief called for dynamic photography, large pullout quotes, and appropriate image treatment. The beautiful wide vistas of the Nam Ou inspired the chosen photography. Color temperature of imagery was altered to highlight the serene atmosphere of a river with mostly calm waters. Font was selected for its verticality in order to contrast the landscape format, and for its gentle serif which implies a kind of handmade authenticity.
