Festival Campaign for Xochitl Chips and Salsa


Despite being well-regarded brand in the world of chips and salsa, Xochitl uses remarkably little marketing. Being a huge fan of their chips I thought it would be interesting to adapt the Mayan/Aztec heritage that informs their recipes into an event campaign rollout. “CENTURIES OF FLAVOR” is a latin street festival that takes place in the center of Dallas (the hometown of the company) with branding that forefronts the four major Aztec gods that ruled over ancient Central American culture. The visual language is heavily informed by Aztec visual symbology, but re-interpreting those intricate styles in a more simplistic fashion.
